My passion for photography has its downsides. I am constantly looking for lenses that allow me to do what I want to do. I do not want lenses just to have lenses, but I am a sucker for certain focal lengths and fast apertures. That naturally leads to trying various lenses out and seeing what fits my style best. Now, finally, I think I've found my weapon of choice. For rangefinder shooting, anyways.
I did some lens trading at a local lens retailer and for my rangefinder photography I chose this one. It seems to be really amazing and that's exactly what I was expecting it to be, having read basically all the reviews out there. I have only shot two frames with it but so far I really like what I see. These pictures are nothing too fancy, just my colleague having some lunch and then enjoying a bit of cool smoking sensation.
I will be shooting this lens a lot from now on out and I'm definitely going to be taking it to some of the weddings I have coming up. More images to follow, surely.

I drove 1100 kilometres to photograph this young couple in a land far, far away. What an awesome experience it was; the people were genuinely nice and it was a beautiful setting, too. Also I love to travel and I'd never been to that part of the country before so I got to see new stuff and stay at a hotel where the owner personally made me breakfast the following morning. Not bad! More pictures to come later, I hope.

Now, this photo is a scan of a print which I developed with my own hands in my own bathroom/darkroom. Well ok, I did add the borders afterwards. Still though, this is as analog as its gonna get!

Another trip to the north done. Seems like I just have to go there each year, gets my mind off of things. Being that we don't have electricity, running water, central heating or any other invention made after the 1920's, it really does take you back in time. I brought my cameras, of course, and while this photo in particular is just made to look like film (hipsters, anyone?), I did shoot three rolls of T-Max 400 as well. Those pictures I will be developing some time soon I hope, whenever my bathroom is clean enough for some serious darkroom work. More to come.

You all saw this before. Sometimes it is quite hard to resist the obvious, what can I say.

First wedding I've ever been to where I've seen people party to traditional Ethiopian wedding songs. Awesome. More to come.

Been pretty quiet here recently. Well, I have been busy. Here's something from last month, though.
